9+ Ksp Delta V

Yeah, about 600 m/s for a bare Kerbal with full EVA fuel. That is enough to: Land and return to orbit on Gilly, Minmus, Bop, and Pol. Land or launch to orbit on Ike and Dres. But not the round trip without a refuel. Remove KER and Reboot ksp Reboot pc Place another capsule, reroot to the new capsule Old saved craft display deltaV and if I create new ones those display deltaV so it's isolated to one craft. Today we look at determining a delta-v budget and building a vessel to meet that budget. (KSP 1.9.1)🔔 Subscribe - http://www.youtube.com/c/MikeAben?sub-con. The KSP Delta v map is a useful tool that allows you to know the cost to perform an orbit transfer. By looking on the map we can easily determine tons of useful data for our mission. For example, the data for interplanetary maneuvers have been extracted from the following ksp delta v map.

To get the value you need, multiply the Isp in KSP by standard gravity g0 = 9,81m/s². So the equation should go like this: . Δv = 9,81m/s² * Isp * ln ( wetmass / drymass ) . You have to do this for ever stage seperately. For example, the first stage has to push the fully fueled upper stages. Recommended Delta-V: ~7760 m/s (8960 m/s without aerobraking) ~4700 m/s to orbit around Kerbin ~1060 m/s for interplanetary transfer ~1500 m/s for ascent to orbit. ~500 m/s for return to Kerbin (1700 m/s without aerobraking) Additionally, you will need a good understanding of orbital mechanics (see Tutorials section), angles, and a lot of patience.

Basic DeltaV replaces and improves upon the stock dV system. All stock deltaV calculations are replaced using a modified version of the Kerbal Engineer Redux vessel simulator. The allows for several improvements and additions to the stock system: Mach slider used to allow for accurate calculation of jet engine data at flight speeds. The observations most folks have been getting so far generally put the new LKO delta-V requirement between 3500-4000 m/s of delta-V, depending on how well you fly. The 4500 figure is indeed based on the old aerodynamic system, and it'll probably be a while until folks will have time to update the delta-V maps. 0 cramtenahc Members 1 38

Does it really take 12,000 delta-V to land or launch from Eve? Obviously you can use parachutes on the way down and reduce the needed Delta-V but does it really take 12,000 to launch into a low orbit from Eve? Anyone land and take off from Eve? If you have, how about a pic of your ship? Thanks The KSP forums have a section dedicated to such tools here, which is where it is most likely that new tools and versions will be announced. It requires about 7,000-7,500 m/s of delta-v to get into orbit from sea level. Driving to and launching from the peak of one of Eve's mountains can drastically reduce the amount of delta-V required (thus allowing successful launches with significantly lighter rockets).
